FAQ & User Guide of ImageFind App
ImageFind lets you search through your images and find the ones containing the wanted text. To do so, ImageFind uses Firebase’s ML toolkit’s OCR functionality to scan folders of images from your gallery and extracts the text. After scanning, you can quickly search through.
When searching ImageFind will show you all images containing the searched text in a user friendly way. By clicking on the image, it is opened in your default gallery for easy sharing. You can also read and copy the scanned text by long pressing on the desired image.
ImageFind also lets you copy text from any image, even the ones not yet scanned. All you need is to find ImageFind’s icon in the share menu and click on it. This will open the same window as long pressing on a scanned image, where you can quickly copy the wanted text. It’s especially useful for copying text from screenshots.
All functionalities of ImageFind work completely offline. At no point is any of your data transferred anywhere!
